最終章では、安全な運用ルールとトラブル時の対処をまとめます。特に 「消灯し忘れ」 は、この種のシステムで最も起こりやすい事故です。仕組みを理解すれば防げます。

This final chapter covers safe-operation rules and troubleshooting. "Forgetting to turn the lights off" is the most common accident with this kind of system — and understanding why prevents it.

5.1 なぜ消灯し忘れが起きるのか｜Why lights get left on

第4章で「QLC+を閉じる前に必ず消灯」と書きました。これは作法ではなく、DMX規格そのものに由来する制約 です。

Chapter 4 said "always turn the lights off before quitting." That's not just etiquette — it comes from the DMX standard itself.

DMXでは、信号が止まったとき照明は 最後に受け取った値を保持し続ける のが標準動作で、これを Hold Last Look と呼びます。

In DMX, when the signal stops a fixture keeps holding the last value it received — this is called Hold Last Look.

つまり ソフトを閉じても照明は消えません。避けるには、閉じる前に全フェーダーを0にして「明るさ0%」を送ってから終了します。保持される値も0になり、消えたままになります。これが「終了前に必ずブラックアウト」が必要な理由です。

So quitting alone doesn't turn the lights off. Before quitting, set every fader to 0 to send "0 %," then quit — the held value is also 0, so the lights stay off. That's why the blackout-before-quit rule exists.

5.2 運用ルール｜Operating rules

必ず守ること／ Always do

☐	開始前にWi-Fi接続先を確認（照明用ルーター）／ Check Wi-Fi (lighting router) before starting
☐	QLC+はOperateモードで使う（Designで編集しない）／ Use Operate mode, don’t edit in Design
☐	プロジェクトファイルを上書き保存しない／ Don’t overwrite-save the project
☐	終了時は必ずブラックアウトしてから閉じる／ Always blackout before closing
☐	消えたことを目視確認してから席を立つ／ Confirm off before leaving
☐	不具合は自分で直さず管理者に連絡／ Report faults; don’t fix them yourself

やってはいけないこと／ Never

❌ DMX/LANケーブルを抜き差しする／ plug or unplug DMX / LAN cables
❌ 天井の照明本体の設定をいじる／ touch the ceiling fixtures’ own settings
❌ QLC+のフィクスチャ設定を変更する／ change QLC+ fixture settings
❌ ODE Mk2のWeb設定を変える／ change the ODE Mk2’s web settings
❌ 「Save / Yes」で設定ファイルを上書きする／ overwrite the config with “Save / Yes”

5.3 利用終了チェックリスト｜End-of-use checklist

□ All faders down, or Blackout pressed
□ All 7 ceiling fixtures visually OFF
   - Diva-Lite 31   ×4
   - ARRI L7-C Plus ×3
□ Quit QLC+ via File → Quit
□ Chose "No" at the save prompt
□ PC asleep or shut down

このチェックを守るだけで、無人運用のトラブルはほぼ防げます。

Keeping to this checklist prevents almost all unattended-operation trouble.

5.4 トラブルシュート｜Troubleshooting

自分で設定を変えず、症状の切り分けに留めてください。

Don't change settings yourself — just isolate the symptom.

Q1. ライトが1台も反応しない／ No lights respond

信号経路のどこかが切れています。PC側から順番に 確認します。

The signal path is broken somewhere. Check in order, starting from the PC.

PCのWi-Fiが照明用ルーターか？違えば切替／ PC on the lighting router? If not, switch
QLC+はOperateモードか？違えば▶で切替／ QLC+ in Operate mode? If not, press ▶
ODE Mk2の電源LEDは点いているか？消えていれば管理者へ／ ODE power LED on? If not, contact the admin
ルーターの電源は入っているか？／ Is the router powered?

Q2. 特定のライトだけ反応しない／ Only one light is dead

DMXケーブルの断線か、そのライトの電源OFFが疑われます。本体の電源を目視確認し、他のライトが動くかを確認します。どちらの場合も 配線は触らず管理者に連絡。

Suspect a broken DMX cable or that light being off. Check its power and whether the others work — either way, don't touch the wiring; contact the admin.

Q3. 操作と違うライトが反応する／ Wrong light responds

DMXアドレスのずれの可能性。ブラックアウトして消灯し、管理者に連絡（設定ファイルの再読み込みが必要なことが多い）。

Possibly a DMX-address mismatch. Blackout, then contact the admin (often the config needs reloading).

Q4. QLC+が起動しない／クラッシュ／ QLC+ won’t start / crashed

PCを再起動 → QLC+を再起動 → ダメなら管理者へ。

Restart the PC, relaunch QLC+, and if it still fails, contact the admin.

クラッシュ前に点いていた場合、Hold Last Look で点きっぱなしです。一旦QLC+を立ち上げ直し、ブラックアウトしてから終了してください。

If lights were on before the crash, they’re stuck on via Hold Last Look — relaunch QLC+, blackout, then quit.

Q5. 色がおかしい（緑かぶり・紫かぶり）／ Colour looks off

HSI/RGBの設定が中途半端な可能性。ブラックアウトでリセット → プロジェクトを開き直す → 改善しなければ管理者へ。

HSI/RGB may be half-set. Blackout to reset, reopen the project, and contact the admin if it doesn't improve.

Q6. 消灯したのに天井が点いている／ Still on after blackout

特定のフェーダーが残っていることがあります。全フェーダーを目視で確認し、それでも消えなければ DMXアドレスのずれ の可能性。管理者に連絡。

A fader may still be up. Check them all visually; if it still won't go off, suspect a DMX-address mismatch and contact the admin.

5.5 管理者への連絡｜Contact the administrator

照明が消えない／配線が抜け・断線／QLC+設定が変わった／ODE・ルーターの状態がおかしい／破損・発煙・異臭、の場合は自分で解決せず、すぐ連絡してください。

If the lights won't go off, wiring is unplugged/broken, settings changed, the ODE/router looks wrong, or there's damage/smoke/smell — don't try to fix it; contact the admin immediately.

5.6 安全に関する注意｜Safety notes

天井の照明や配線を利用者が触る必要はありません。床のケーブルは触らず管理者へ。機材の近くに水や飲み物を置かない。
Users never need to touch the fixtures or wiring; leave floor cables to the admin; keep drinks away from the gear.
LEDは強い光です。長時間の直視は避け、撮影はモニター越しに確認します。
LEDs are bright — avoid staring at them; check shots on a monitor.
ARRI L7-C Plus は使用中に熱くなります。利用後すぐは触らないでください。
The ARRI L7-C Plus gets hot in use — don't touch it right after.

5.7 まとめ：3つの黄金ルール｜The three golden rules

使う前にWi-Fiを確認 — 照明用ルーターに繋いでからQLC+を開く／ Check Wi-Fi first

設定は触らない — Operateモードで使い、絶対に上書き保存しない／ Don’t touch settings

必ず消してから閉じる — ブラックアウト→目視→「保存しない」／ Always turn off before closing

この3つを守れば、誰でも安全にスタジオの照明システムを使えます。

Keep these three and anyone can use the studio's lighting safely.

5.8 おわりに｜In closing

DMXとQLC+は最初わかりにくく感じても、全体像が見えれば「PCのフェーダーがなぜ天井のライトを動かせるのか」が腑に落ちます。この連載が、撮影現場での創造的な光づくりの入り口になれば幸いです。
